Dyona Augustin, PhD, is a licensed psychologist practicing in South Florida. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Dyona provides therapy to adults struggling with various issues including anxiety, relationship difficulties, depression, cultural issues, and more. She has a special heart for helping women who struggle with anxiety, inadequacy, imposter syndrome, and assertiveness. She cares about all of her clients and enjoys working collaboratively with them to reach all of their goals—big or small. Dr. Dyona uses several techniques (e.g., Socratic questioning, confrontation, cognitive restructuring, etc.) to help challenge clients to make the changes they need to better their lives today. She is a direct, solution-oriented therapist who allows her clients space to discuss their concerns and work towards finding a solution that works best for them. Her primary goal is to help everyone she comes in contact with to empower themselves by learning skills they can apply in their own lives, and enable them to find renewed purpose and meaning in their lives.
